Drafting and Engineering
Our experienced in-house design team partners with stone masons, contractors and architects to provide the most value-efficient and innovative solutions to fulfill project needs. We take time to work through the options to ensure that we are providing you the most cost-efficient and highest quality end product available.
We transform approved architectural plans into detailed Cast Stone shop drawings that include comprehensive dimensions and a piece marking system for each unit of Cast Stone.
Mold Creation
Our expert carpentry teams construct molds for your job with precision and consistency based on the approved shop drawings. Each piece is handled individually to ensure that the end product exceeds expectations in function and appearance. All mold dimensions are checked before delivery to the production floor.
Cast Stone Production
We offer superior quality compared to precast concrete, without the higher cost of quarried stone. In this phase the approved mixture design is created and delivered to the appropriate production line. We then utilize the method called Vibratory Dry Tamping (VDT) to compact the mixture into the mold. The tamped mold is then inverted and removed, producing the Cast Stone piece.
A finisher reviews the completed piece for imperfections and then transfers the piece to a Curing Room where it is subjected to warm humid conditions for a period of at least twelve hours. This highly controlled manufacturing process produces a rich, durable alternative to natural stone.
Delivery and Project Coordination
Once the Cast Stone pieces have gone through the curing process they are palletized, weighed and marked appropriately for shipment. The palletized product is carefully packaged for protection and then moved to the storage area for delivery to the job site per schedule.
